When you install an Acrobat PDF product on a system that includes a browser, you automatically configure the browser to open PDF files within the browser window. After the document is open, the 'SAVEITEM' command is used to trigger the download of the plug-in content. As with all downloads, the file and folder names are defined by the ONDOWNLOAD command. Another option to download all kinds of special files (PDF, Excel, Word, Video,...) without opening them first is the 'SaveTargetAs' command. For details, please run the 'Demo-SaveTargetAs' macro.
